The Fake an Egg Egg Index below is a currently documented list, not a complete live database. It combines names visible in recent game walkthroughs while leaving unsupported hatch odds and permanent values unset. Use it to recognize an egg and decide what to inspect in your current server; use the floating in-game label for the price, timer, and rarity you will actually pay for.

Names such as Badger, Spinosaurus, Gorilla, Lion, Gold Bear, Gold Gargoyle, Mammoth, Swordfish, and Wyvern also appear in current community walkthroughs. Those sources do not agree on a complete tier ladder or a single stable value set, so confirm each label in the live game before treating it as current.
How to read an index entry
Keep six fields together: exact display name, rarity label, displayed cash price, displayed timer, source location, and observation date. Add a prefix such as GOLD or DIAMOND exactly as shown instead of silently merging it into the base egg. If a field is obscured, leave it blank.
Do not convert one session’s observed price into a permanent fact. Event modifiers, updates, progression state, or a simple guide error can produce conflicts. The public walkthroughs reviewed on October 24 disagree even on early Rebirth requirements and some scanner unlocks; that is enough reason to date every economy record.
Find and validate an egg
Walk through the central public yard and read the floating labels before spending. Check any countdown boards that announce higher-tier spawns. If the egg is worth scanning, compare its rarity with the tool you currently own; a lower-tier scanner may not return a useful verdict on a higher-tier target.
After purchase, carry the egg to your own pen and place it on an open nest. Once it hatches, record the resulting pet and displayed income separately. The egg’s rarity and price are acquisition fields; the pet’s rate and active-slot value belong in the Pet Index.
Compare eggs without invented odds
When hatch odds are not published, do not calculate an expected value from guessed percentages. Compare what you can see: purchase cost, time to afford, nest time, scanner requirement, and the actual pet result after hatching. A high-cost egg may still be a poor immediate choice if it empties your cash before a Rebirth or leaves every nest occupied.
For a spending decision, write the candidate cost and your current income per second, then estimate the time needed to recover the purchase under today’s rate. That is a planning estimate, not a guaranteed drop model. Use the Income Guide after the hatch to decide whether the pet improves an active slot.
Keep event eggs separate
The official Halloween event confirms a named content update, while community summaries mention new pets and a new rarity. Do not fold an event egg into the permanent yard list until a current server shows its source after the event window. Mark it as live, historical, persistent, or unavailable with a date.
The same rule applies to Admin Abuse or Mr Egg Party items. A promotional image or interest count can show that an event existed without proving the exact reward pool.
Index questions
Why are exact prices missing here?
The current guides show examples from different sessions and sometimes conflict. The live label is more useful than a frozen value. Record it with the date if you need a comparison.
Are GOLD and DIAMOND rarities?
They are observed prefixes on Chicken Egg examples, but the reviewed evidence does not establish whether every prefix uses the same mutation system, its odds, or its multiplier. Keep the prefix separate from the base rarity.
How do I add a reliable record?
Capture the full label, egg location, server date, scanner result if used, nest timer, hatch result, and any active event. Avoid cropping away the fields needed to interpret the number.
