Current Fake an Egg guides show pets earning while the player is away and an offline estimate in the pen, but the complete formula is not official. Measure your own result with a fixed lineup, paired timestamps, and unchanged boosts. Do not assume live cash per second continues at the same rate for every offline minute.
Record the logout state
Before leaving, write the UTC time, cash balance, active pets, slot count, displayed total income, feeder multiplier, Rebirth level, event state, and any offline estimate shown by the game. Take the values from one menu session.
Avoid changing equipment immediately before closing unless that change is the test. Wait for the total to update and then log out normally.
Record the return state
On the next login, note the UTC time and any offline reward message before opening shops or changing pets. Record the awarded amount and new balance. Check whether the same active lineup remained selected.
Subtract the starting balance only after accounting for the explicit offline award. A login bonus, Index claim, or event grant should not be folded into the away income.
Compare intervals
Calculate elapsed time from the timestamps and divide the observed offline award by that duration only as a description of the interval. Repeat the same duration and conditions at least once. If results differ, record the difference rather than forcing a constant formula.
Test one variable at a time: active lineup, feeder state, Rebirth, or duration. Several simultaneous changes cannot reveal which one affected the result.
Use a simple record for each test:
- logout and return timestamps in the same time zone;
- starting and ending cash;
- the game’s displayed offline estimate and actual award;
- active pet names and rates;
- slot count, feeder state, Rebirth level, and event status;
- anything that changed unexpectedly after login.
Keep the raw record even when the result looks wrong. A cap, rounding rule, delayed save, or update may become visible only after several intervals.
Use the result for planning
Estimate whether the next login will reach an egg or Rebirth goal, but keep a margin. Updates, caps, collection timing, or server behavior can change the result. Recheck the displayed estimate after every major lineup change.
Offline progress complements active actions such as Index claims, hatching, disguise, and theft. It should not be used to justify leaving the account connected or using automation.
Compare short and long absences
Start with two manageable intervals under the same conditions. If the average reward differs, test whether the game uses a cap, a delayed collection window, or a non-linear estimate. Do not extrapolate a short result across an entire day until a longer interval supports it.
After changing your active lineup, create a new baseline. Comparing a strong new lineup with an older offline record can show that progress helped, but it cannot isolate which pet or boost produced the difference.
Troubleshoot a surprising return
If no reward appears, check whether the game placed it directly into the balance, whether the session saved before logout, and whether the active lineup persisted. If the reward is much smaller than the displayed estimate, verify the elapsed time and make sure no Rebirth or event changed the conditions.
Do not repeat purchases or resets until you have captured the return screen and current state. If Roblox had a service interruption, label the interval and exclude it from a normal-rate comparison.
Safe offline progress
Log out normally and rely on the game’s supported away system. Do not use macros, unattended clients, credential-sharing services, or scripts. They can violate Roblox rules, expose the account, and produce data that does not describe genuine offline earnings.
Offline questions
Do all owned pets count?
Current guides connect income to active slots. Record the active lineup before logout rather than assuming stored pets contribute.
Does the feeder apply offline?
The reviewed sources do not provide a complete official formula. Compare matched intervals with the feeder state recorded.
Can mutations happen offline?
Official art promotes offline mutations, but timing and odds are not published. Record labels before and after; do not infer a rate from one return.
Why did the displayed daily estimate not match?
The estimate may use conditions, caps, or rounding not visible in public documentation. Compare the actual award with timestamps and repeat before drawing a conclusion.
