Fake an Egg Index Rewards

Use the Fake an Egg Index to confirm discovered pets, claim current rewards, plan missing species, and avoid relying on an outdated total or reward table.

Open the Fake an Egg Index after discovering a new pet. Current community walkthroughs show species entries, completion progress, and rewards that may require a manual Claim action. The exact roster total, milestones, and payouts can change after events, so use the live Index for current planning.

Confirm the discovery

After a hatch or successful theft, open the Index and locate the species. Read whether the entry is discovered, whether a prefix has its own record, and whether a reward is available. Do not assume that seeing the pet in your pen automatically completed every related entry.

Record the exact species spelling and completion count if you maintain a list. This helps separate base species from GOLD, DIAMOND, RAINBOW, or event labels.

Claim the reward

Use the current Claim action on the entry or milestone. Note the stated reward, then check the relevant cash, item, or currency balance. If the button remains, wait for UI refresh before clicking repeatedly.

Spend only after confirming the reward arrived. A screenshot of the offer is not proof of collection.

Plan the next missing entry

Choose a missing species whose egg source, cost, and rarity fit your current progress. Check yard timers and scanner coverage, then compare the purchase with the value of the Index reward and the resulting pet’s active-slot potential.

For event entries, verify current availability. A historical event card can remain visible even when the source is gone.

Use a discovery loop each session

Start by opening the Index and noting one or two reachable missing entries. Check the associated egg or event source, run scanners where available, and hatch or steal only when the route is worth the time and cash. Reopen the Index immediately after the new pet appears, then claim any visible reward before beginning another run.

This loop prevents a common problem: collecting several pets, forgetting which one advanced the Index, and being unable to diagnose a missing entry. It also lets you stop once the next target becomes too expensive or depends on an inactive event.

Balance duplicates and new species

A duplicate can still be useful if it improves active income, supports a mutation path, or replaces a weaker slot. A new species may offer Index progress and a claimable reward even when its cash rate is not the best. Compare both outcomes before choosing an egg.

When cash is tight, favor the choice that advances the current bottleneck. Use income improvement when saving for the next tier; use a new discovery when a reachable milestone has a clearly displayed reward. Never discard a strong active pet merely to make the Index number rise.

Track entries without inventing a roster

A practical record includes the exact species name, prefix or mutation label, discovered status, source, source availability, reward shown, reward claimed, server or update context, and check date. Leave rarity, source, and reward blank when the game does not show them.

Treat event entries as time-scoped. Record the event name and whether its source was playable on the check date. If an old entry remains in the Index after an event ends, describe it as historical until the game provides another obtainable source.

Troubleshoot Index progress

Pet not marked

Confirm the hatch or theft completed, then reopen the Index. Record the exact pet and prefix.

No Claim button

The entry may not have an individual reward, may require a milestone, or may already be claimed.

Reward missing

Check the named balance or inventory, wait for refresh, and record the before/after state.

Total differs from a guide

Use the live roster. Updates and events can change the count.

Index questions

Are rewards automatic?

Recent walkthroughs show manual Claim actions. Always open the current Index after a new discovery.

Does every mutation count separately?

The reviewed evidence does not establish a universal rule. Read the live Index and keep base species and prefixes separate.

Is the roster total fixed?

No. New events or updates can add entries. Date any total you record.

Should I chase every missing entry immediately?

No. Prioritize entries with a currently available source and a cost that does not block the next meaningful upgrade. Return to expensive, rare, or event-locked entries later.

What if a pet is in inventory but not in the Index?

Keep the pet, reopen the Index after the interface refreshes, and record the exact name and prefix. If the mismatch persists, avoid claiming a universal bug from one observation and check again in a new server.
