Three support systems make the Fake an Egg loop easier to control: scanners reduce the risk of buying a disguised player, the feeder boosts pet cash when supplied with food, and the Index rewards new discoveries. Each system depends on a live menu with update-sensitive stock, requirements, or rewards, so operate from the current UI instead of memorizing one table.

Verify eggs

Scanners

Match a scanner's supported tier to the egg, equip it, use the current Scan prompt, and read the verdict before buying.

Use scanners to reduce purchase risk

The official premise allows players to disguise as eggs. Current community walkthroughs show a purple Scanners stall near the main yard, limited stock, tier coverage, a hotbar tool, a Scan interaction, and a green REAL result for a genuine egg.

Public guides disagree on some Rebirth unlocks and costs. Read the live stall description, current stock, refresh timer, and supported rarity. Equip the tool, approach an egg within its coverage, use the displayed action, and wait for a verdict. An absent result is not proof that the egg is fake; it can indicate range, tier, stock, or interface problems.

Feed pets with a measured goal

Community guides show a Pet Food stall and a feeder trough in the playerโ€™s pen. Food can have a cost or unlock, a fill contribution, and limited stock. Add food only after reading those current fields.

Before feeding, record active pets and total income. Carry the food to the trough, use the current Add Food prompt, and verify the feeder label changed. Reopen the Pets menu and record the new total. This confirms the practical result without assuming a permanent formula.

When a guide says a carrot is free or lists a fill percentage, treat it as a dated observation. Another session may show a cash or Robux price, different stock, or a new unlock rule.

Claim Index rewards manually

Recent walkthroughs report that discovering a pet adds it to the Index but does not automatically pay every reward. Open the Index, find new entries or milestones, and use the current Claim action. Record the reward before spending it.

The live Index is also the best roster reference for your server. Do not turn one reported completion total into a permanent species count. Events and updates can add entries.

Combine the systems in one loop

Start by checking the Index for unclaimed rewards. Use the cash or items to support the next target. Visit the food or scanner stall and read current stock before selecting an egg. Scan when the purchase risk justifies the tool, hatch the egg, equip the resulting pet if it improves the lineup, add food if the boost supports the next goal, then return to the Index.

This order avoids two common waste patterns: buying a duplicate while a discovery reward is unclaimed, and consuming food before a stronger active lineup is equipped.

Decide which mechanic matters now

Cash is the bottleneck

Claim Index rewards, equip the best comparable pets, and test feeder gain before buying a marginal egg.

Fake eggs waste time

Buy or unlock a scanner that covers the rarity you normally target, then learn its verdict flow.

Collection is the goal

Use the live Index to identify missing entries and claim each available reward after hatching.

Rebirth is close

Read the live requirement before spending on stock. A support purchase should shorten, not delay, the reset.

Troubleshoot support systems

If a scanner is sold out, note the stall refresh timer and return later instead of buying an unrelated tier. If a scan produces no verdict, confirm coverage, tool selection, distance, and prompt. If the feeder does not change, check that the food left inventory and that you used your own trough. If an Index reward is missing, verify that the entry is new and whether the current menu requires a milestone rather than a single species.

Change one condition at a time. Rejoining can refresh a stale interface, but capture the current state first.

Keep update-sensitive records useful

For scanner stock, record tool name, coverage, cost, unlock, stock, refresh time, server date, and source. For food, record name, cost, fill contribution, unlock, stock, and feeder result. For Index rewards, record the exact entry or milestone, requirement, reward, claim result, and date.

Unknown fields should remain blank. A complete-looking table with guessed values is less useful than a smaller verified record.

Mechanics questions

Do scanners work on every egg?

Current community guides describe tier coverage. Match the scanner to the eggโ€™s rarity and read the live description; a low-tier tool should not be assumed to cover higher tiers.

Is feeder food always free?

Guides conflict on costs and unlocks. Read the current Pet Food stall and stock timer.

Are Index rewards automatic?

Recent walkthroughs show manual Claim actions. Open the live Index after a new discovery.
